Akeem

DJ & EVENT MC

Akeem aka Prince Akeem is an ATL Native by way of Montreal and Toronto with a profound knowledge of music, and an impressive performance resume. As a mix show DJ for The Rickey Smiley Morning Show and SIRIUS XM, Akeem uses his experience and knowledge to move crowds over the airwaves and in person. With over 200 private events to his name in addition to nightclub and venue residences, Akeem sets himself apart with his unique style and presence which consistently leads to memorable experiences on the Dancefloor!!

What type of music do you listen to?
Honestly, it’s a pretty wide list…I usually listen to anything with a good feel and energy to it, especially songs that make you want to dance. Some of my go to’s are Hip Hop, R&B, Top 40’s, Classic Pop Rock and Soul. And the new records with good feels like Afrobeats, Reggaeton and Club are some of my favorites too.

What do you enjoy most about being a DJ?
As a DJ there’s a moment during the event where you know you have the crowd in a great place. Meaning, you’re taking them on a journey throughout the night and you can take them through different peaks and they will go wherever you want them to go. Songs they love right now, mixed with songs that take them back to their childhood…it’s about guests and clients leaving the event with a memorable experience. I love getting to that moment in the evening.

Best DJ Moment?
I’m lucky to say that I have a few, but a favorite was Doing for Cirque Du Soleil on their Opening night After Party. The best part about it was looking up and seeing a sea of people dancing and singing to every song for a good hour and a half. The room was really diverse, people of all ages and different walks of life. They came to see the show, but they stayed because of the music and so many people were having a good time. That was special!

DJ & EVENT MC

DJ Marcus has been playing everything from Top 40, Hip Hop, R&B, Afro Beats, Pop and more since HS. A trained Drummer and proclaimed music aficionado there’s no Dancefloor Marcus can’t get started. Hailing from the Midwest, Marcus gives Talent, Experience, and Attention to every event he’s a part of, ready to keep your crowd asking for more!!

What type of music do you listen to?
Being a Music Lover, I listen to everything, from Pop, Hip Hop, Afrobeats, EDM and more. There aren’t too many days when the hits aren’t in my playlist rotation.

What do you enjoy most about being a DJ?
The BEST DJ Moment…. has to be opening the Dancefloor. Just the right song at just the right time and seeing that reaction is priceless!

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
When I’m not head 1st into the music, I’m outside, spending time with friends, exploring the city, and always looking to create the next experience!

All the way from Detroit, Michigan by way of Arkansas and finally landing in Atlanta, DJ Eric is known for keeping a Dancefloor packed!! His perfect timing, song selections and his smooth transitions set him apart when it comes to DJ Skills. Eric has been performing on stages BIG and small since High School, during college and is still creating unique experiences for clients no matter the event type! From Bridesmaid to CEO, Eric helps create a full sound experience everyone will enjoy!

What type of music do you listen to?
Being from Detroit, I listen to a little bit of everything! My playlist is packed with gems, different genres and so many classics that span the decades!

What do you enjoy most about being a DJ?
The BEST DJ moment for me, must be the look on their faces when that perfect song drops at JUST the right time, taking them to a time and a level they can’t forget, and helping them to create a new moment!

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
For me, spare time is about travel, family, and relaxation all before I’m ready for my next event!

DJ, PRODUCER

Originally from Chicago, IL, DJ Nate aka Mave Muzik has been entertaining crowds for years. As a Full Time music producer he’s worked with some of the biggest names in music. When he’s not creating music, he’s playing it for Private Events, Corporate clients and Social gatherings. He’s no stranger to creating the right musical landscape to fit the right audience!!

What type of music do you listen to?
When I’m not making music, I’m listening to a little bit of everything, from classic Chicago House to Hip Hop, Top 40, Latin and of course R&B, my playlist is deep with hits and melodies that keep me going all day!

What do you enjoy most about being a DJ?
I love interacting with people, trying new records and helping bring the classics back to the forefront and even mixing that with today’s sounds to give my clients a unique and complete soundtrack for their events!

So many….from Concerts, Big Stages to Weddings at the Four Seasons, my favorite moments involve the crowds’ reactions to some of the musical directions I’ve taken them on!

Originally from Atlanta, Ga. Jaybee began DJ’n post High School and has loved music, crowds and packing a Dancefloor ever since his 1st time on the 1’s and 2’s! If he’s not entertaining a crowd with his personality, it’s his deep rotation of hits that has people coming back for more. His personal mission is to leave his crowds with an unforgettable feeling each and every time!

What type of music do you listen to?
Music is Life for me, so my personal playlist has some of everything! You can find me listening to Stevie Wonder, Future, Bruno Mars, Maroon 5, Coldplay, The Bee Gees and a little more!

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Travel and time with family and friends are the center of my spare time! I love a good beach, a specialty cocktail and catching a vibe!

Best DJ Moment ?
I was once DJ’n a large Wedding, with a HUGE Wedding party, about 26 people total. Well half way through the evening they all broke out into a full fledged synchronized dance. It was completely unexpected and everybody LOVED it. It took the reception to a new level for the rest of the evening!

Originally from Hollywood California, Elton grew up listening to all sorts of music. He began his DJ career in High School and has DJ’d events across the country since then. From local parties and events to Corporate Events, Weddings and Social Events, it’s creating moments that matter most with Elton. Moments when a Bride and Groom come together to celebrate their favorite song or it’s an intro for a CEO, it’s the moments that motivate Elton to keep raising the bar.

Being from the West Coast, I listen to a variety of music, but Hip Hop, R&B, Caribbean, Afro Beats and House are definitely on my day to day playlist!

Best DJ Moment?
The best DJ moments to me…happen when the dancefloor first gets packed is by far my most favorite time. That look on the faces of the crowd as they start to step out on the floor and we take things up a notch is unmatched!

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
For me, quality time with friends and family along with Travel and good food is what my spare time is all about!

A True DJ, Entertainer, and Host, Toryn is recognized for not only his DJ Skills, Song selections and perfect timing but also his ability to understand, move and impact crowds with Music, Lighting and Enhancements as only a true professional can…

What do you enjoy most about being a DJ?
It’s honestly seeing how music and entertainment can completely transform a space and leave a lasting impression amongst people who’ve never had an opportunity to meet.

What’s on your current playlist?
My playlist changes…almost daily, but consistently I love good classic music that moves you and makes you feel good. Some of my favorites genres include Hip Hop, Top 40, Latin and even some Afro Beats and a whole lot more. I love music!

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
My spare time is all about Friends, Family and getting better at all of the things I’m involved in. From being a great DJ, Business and Thought leader, to being an impactful friend, father, and team member is at the top of my list. I also frequently enjoy a good shopping trip to pick up the latest retro sneakers or a good suit, in addition to catching a movie!
